The River Course, which winds through scenic salt marshes along the Intracoastal Waterway, underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2022 led by Chris Lutzke and his design team. The project included expanding and recontouring the green complexes, reshaping and repositioning bunkers to better accommodate modern play, installing a new irrigation system, complete re-grassing, and additional infrastructure upgrades—all aimed at enhancing playability and course conditions while remaining true to Joe Lee’s original design intent.
